Being what feels like the largest map available in Tanki X, Kungur is a sophisticatedly-designed map that’s filled with buildings, overpasses and other elevated grounds, along with a sneaky trench in the middle.

If you think the map, Silence, is complicated enough, you definitely haven’t met Kungur. It is a particularly well-designed and very sophisticated map that’s filled with buildings, overpasses and other elevated grounds, along with a sneaky trench, allowing players to flank and outflank each other as they battle it out on the scenic battlefield.

As mentioned, Kungur is a map that’s somewhat designed like a valley where there’s some flat ground in the middle of the surrounding, concrete-built elevated grounds. The flat land in the middle is not as open as the Massacre map or as riddled with massive “potholes”, but instead, you can find a series of organized warehouses that makes zigzagging between them an ideal strategy to outrun a fellow enemy tank.

There is also a pretty long yet narrow and somewhat hidden trench in the middle of the map with 2 small and very plain-looking metal bridges that you can use to cross over to the other side. Although it’s pretty easy for you to flip your tank into the trench if you’re not careful due to the superb camouflage the surrounding brush and grasses, it can be used as a strategy to force your opponents into the trench itself. All you need to do is to distract them while they are near to the trench and slowly egg them towards the gaping strip much like how a shepherd will herd his sheep.

The mostly well-paved elevated grounds, on the other hand, are perfect for sniper-like tanks to pick off enemies at the risk of getting picked off yourself since there are hardly any object, buildings or bushes, that you can conceal your tank with in these areas. These high grounds are nice for tanks to “drop from above” and surprise a tank underneath. The trick though is to make sure your tank remains upright once it lands or you’ll simply be cannon-fodder for the tank you’re aiming to attack.
